โฆ Synopsis
From the rotational bands of C, the temperature of an arc has been measured. The temperature is 6000 ยฐ K. ill good agreement with the temperature obtained from the CN-bands.
Assuming the same temperature for the vibrational bands the ratio of transition probabilities can be determined ; the values obtained agree with the theoretical values calculated by W u r m.
