✦ Synopsis


Radiative vacancy transfer probabilities from K-shell to L 2 -and L 3 -subshells and M-shell were obtained for some elements in the range 55 ≤ Z ≤ 68 by measuring characteristic K x-rays from targets excited by 59.54 keV photons from a filtered radioisotope 241 Am point source. Comparisons between the present experimental results and theoretical predictions were made.
