Iaser speckle method has been used tq investigate the in-plarz displacements around crack tips in single edge crack tensile specimens made of Araidite CT ZOO. Good correlation was obtained between experimental results and the Westergaard solution, using stress intensity parameters calculated by boundary collocation.
