✦ Synopsis

A data logging system used for long-term noise measurements is described. The system's ability to measure impulsive noise correctly is analysed and compared with that of other systems. It is concluded that the systems considered in the investigation are able to measure impulsive noise with an error not exceeding I dB, provided the crest/actor of the noise is less than 30 dB.
