## Abstract We proposed a new approach to identify the frequencies of droplet rotation and __m__=±2 oscillation that degrade the accuracy of surface tension measurement by an oscillating droplet method. Frequencies of droplet rotation and __m__=±2 oscillation can be identified by a phase unwrapping
