## Abstract Stimulation of small, resting B cells by the mitogen lipopolysaccharide from __E. coli__ induces changes in synthesis, turnover, carbohydrate composition, surface deposition and active secretion of IgM. With increasing time stimulation, the rate of synthesis of the glycoprotein IgM incr
