Traveling polymerization fronts in unstirred solutions of methylmethacrylate, methacrylic acid, or acrylamide with some free radicals initiators (through thermal decomposition) have been observed experimentally. A local heating of the initial reactant mixture, under suitable conditions, leads to a r
