โฆ Synopsis
In this paper, the use of concrete for the immobilization of radioactive waste (radionuclide Cs 137) is presented. A relatively simple mathematical model is given which permits minimization of the permeability coefficient and leach rate and maximization of the compressive strength of the sample. An optimal solution, based on the the experimental data, is given. The results will be used for the future Yugoslav radioactive waste storing center.
