โฆ Synopsis
This paper describes a mathematical model which has been developed to predict axial concenWation decay of powdered coal jet by dimensional analysis. The procedure was applied for jets using primary air alone and also for jets using both primary and secondary air. Experiments for measuring concentration distribution were conducted under isothermal conditions in a horizontal cylindrical chamber of diameter 55 cm and length 180 cm. The exponents for the different dimensionless groups and the proportionality constant were determined from the results of the experiments.
