✦ Synopsis

Jane Austen’s Fitzwilliam Darcy has been born on a calm and tranquil March day. The hope of his father, Gregory Darcy, is for his son to become a competent and wise Master of Pemberley while Lady Anne, Fitzwilliam's mother wishes for her son to know happiness and peace which comes from true love. In the book, Lady Anne encourages her son not to become too serious however there are many events which seem to cause Master Fitzwilliam to withdraw further into himself. Henry Fitzwilliam and Anne de Bourgh are playmates along with George Wickham who practically grew up at Pemberley.
In addition to the normal concerns Darcy’s parents have about their son, a terrible secret could be the undoing for all of them and have repercussions for Darcy and his cousins along with Georgiana. Gregory and Anne Darcy must decide on the best course to protect their shy son from the truth while encouraging him to allow his humor and goodness to shine.
In Master Fitzwilliam Becomes Mr. Darcy, we see how the gentle and tenderhearted young Master Fitzwilliam slowly becomes the formidable and stern Mr. Darcy we meet at the Meryton Assembly. Here too are the answers to why Darcy acts as he does and what some of his beliefs are regarding himself, his estate, and his duties.
Master Fitzwilliam Becomes Mr. Darcy is a fast paced companion book to Healing Mr. Darcy’s Heart and Banishing Mr. Darcy’s Loneliness. The companion book lays the groundwork for some of Mr. Darcy’s behaviors and thoughts as he becomes an adult and explains how he relates to those he comes in contact with.
