โœฆ Synopsis


The PowerPac offers a very high power density compared with the total system weight, a 50 ms startup period and high electrical efficiency, according to PSI. Large-scale production was anticipated in the system design, and the parts used are generally off-the-shelf. The system has been developed to be operated in either stationary or mobile applications.

The PowerPac technology is for sale to strategic partners, with a license for producing PSI's PEM fuel cell and stack technology. Dutch-based venture capitalist Planet Capital Management is assisting PSI with the spinout [FCB, Sep. 2003].
