When you know a national state of emergency is coming, what do you do?
After massive earthquakes rock the capital and the infrastructure begins to crumble, the Government is unable to cope. The power grid is about to collapse. Food shortages are coming. Civil unrest will soon follow.
Mark Dobson gets an early warning from an insider that a national state of emergency is about to be declared. He has just two hours' head start to get his family safe, before widespread panic hits. As a survival prepper Mark has an advantage already, but will it be enough to keep his family safe?
Every person he tells reduces his advantage, but it may cost innocent lives. How far do you go?
With his wife Gemma at work in the city and her elderly parents miles away, two hours may not be enough. He knows from experience that when order turns to chaos, good people will do bad things just to survive. Gemma will need to get herself out of a burning city and hit the road to safety, relying on her wits, determination and a geeky colleague to stay alive.
