โฆ Synopsis
Using the X-ray method on single crystal specimens an investigation is made of crystal structure of newly-formed martensite of Fe-30,8wt.%Ni alloy and Fe-24wl:.%Ni-0,Swt.%C alloy and the change during heating from liquid helium and nitrogen temperature. The decrease in tetragonality of martensite lattice of both alloys at low temperature is associated with relaxation of elastic stresses on the martensite-retained anstenite interface. The further increase in tetragonality of martensite lattice of second alloy is explained by the process of ordering of the carbon atoms on martensite lattice sites,
