Abstract

The S~N~2′‐mechanism is proved for the reaction of hexachloro‐propene to trichloroorthoacrylic acid methylester. Moreover ^14^C‐labelled chloro‐C~2~‐ and chloro‐C~3~‐compounds given in reaction schemes 1–3 are synthesized.
