## Abstract Zerumbone is a sesquiterpene phytochemical with potential anticancer, anti‐inflammatory, anti‐HIV and other biological activities, most abundantly found in __Zingiber zerumbet__ (L.) Smith. Previous studies reported 12.6–73.1% of zerumbone in __Z. zerumbet__ rhizome oils from various ge
