โœฆ Synopsis


The magneto-luminescence energy associated with a recombination of a two-dimensional electron with a hole bound to an acceptor is calculated for n-type modulation-doped GaAs/AIGaAs quantum wells. Many-body interactions among electrons and between electrons and a photo-excited hole are taken into account as well as the screening of a negatively charged acceptor. The photo|uminescence energy exhibits a distinct magnetic oscillation whose phase is opposite to that for the case of a free hole.
