✦ Synopsis
We have theoretically investigated the effective spin-orbit (SO) interaction in the twodimensional electron system of a quantum wire, which forms the surface of a circular cylinder. We have obtained an analytical expression for the electron energy spectrum, which depends on the sign of the effective SO constant, and calculated the specific form of the cylinder quantized conductance as a function of the Fermi energy.
