## Abstract Ovarian changes during the reproductive cycle of the oviparous garden lizard (__Calotes versicolor__) are described. It ovulates from last week of June to first week of September but most often in July and August when the monsoon occurs. The number of eggs ovulated vary from 10 to 32. A
