Many companies are now outsourcing their information systems and communications networks. One very big issue which is hequendy inadequately addressed in these situations is managing the security of business information when the inmr.structure which handles the information is no longer in the hands of the enterprise.This paper examines the main issues concerning security of business information in outsourced systems and networks, and looks at the strategy that management should follow to ensure that its business information is adequately secured under these conditions.
