โฆ Synopsis
Three cases of peripheral T-cell lymphocytosis associated with thymoma are described. Each patient had a malignant, predominantly lymphocytic thymoma with resolution of lymphocytosis upon treatment of the epithelial neoplasm. These findings suggest that lymphocytosis complicating thymoma is a paraneoplastic phenomenon and is not part of the neoplastic process.

## METHODS. The author presents what is believed to be the seventh case of peripheral T-cell lymphocytosis associated with thymoma and reviews the previous six cases. The pathology slides of the thymoma were reviewed with a pathologist who confirmed the presence of neoplastic thymic epithelium wit
BACKGROUND. An association between thymoma and second malignancy has been suggested but has not been validated. Whether the relation is due to treatment or to other thymoma-associated conditions is unclear. ## METHODS. The authors studied 192 consecutive patients with thymoma and compared the inc
