The response to iron deficiency was investigated in 16 ecotypes ofArabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh. and in Arabidopsis ,qr(ffithiana. An increase in root ferric reductase activity was observed under conditions of iron deficiency in these ecotypes and in both species. This observation is consistent wi
