Kunawani was the message runner for her pack of Ravagers; dangerous creatures with sickle-shaped claws and feathered bodies best known for their hunting prowess. During her most recent run to her sister-pack, Kunawani stumbles across a creature even more curious than she has ever encountered before: a young human woman named Ling.
