✦ Synopsis

We have measured the transverse magnetoresistance and de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) effect in the antiferromagnetic Kondo lattice substance CeIn3. The magnetoresistance increases in the wide field region, suggesting a compensated metal. Open orbits are found along the tllO> and <112> directions. We have detected one dHvA branch which corresponds to the electron sheet of sixth band in LaIn3. centered at the r point.
