β¦ Synopsis
The magnetisation of a ring shaped from an alkali-halide flux grown single crystal of Y~CO has been measured as a function of field, temperature and oxygenation. A clear distinction can be made between the bulk transport critical current and currents flowing within internal domains within the crystal.

A decrease in the intensity of the emission attributable to the dpastates is observed when the oxygen concentration is increased. This suggests that charg
The variation with temperature of the internal friction of aluminum single crystals was studied. In the temperature range, 77'K to 35O"K, the decrement of undeformed crystals exhibited only a slight dependence on temperature. Some results were obtained which indicated that deformation and rapid cool
