✦ Synopsis

Magnetic susceptibility measurements have been carried out betseen 80 and 330 K for the powdered salts [4-XC6H4NH3] *FeC4, X = Cl, OCHa and H. AU three compounds show weak ferromagnetism below the N6el temperature TN, which is ascribed to spin canting in the antiferromagnetically ordered state. The effective magnetic moment peffis found to be =5 fig, in agreement with the expected value for high-spin Fe'+ compounds.
