We have revisited the magnetic penetration depth data on the electron-doped cuprates, Pr 2Àx Ce x CuO 4Ày and La 2Àx Ce x CuO 4Ày . It is proposed that the transition between nodal-gap-like and nodeless-gap-like behavior upon electron-doping [e.g., see M. Kim et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 91 (2003) 87001

In Pr2.xCexCu04. 6 compounds with x -0.15, 0.18, we observed superconductivity below about 20 K. We measured magnetic hysteresis at 5 K in fields of 0.01-I.I T. Above 0.5 T, the single-ion paramagnetism of Pr(3+) overwhelms the superconductivity. After correction, the superconductive M-H hysteresis

Low temperature heat capacity was measured as a function of x in Pr2\_xCexCuO #. The temperature linear term, yT, increases linearly, and the Debye temperature decreases with x. The Einstein contribution to the heat capacity is large and decreases gradually with electron-doping.
