Magnetic susceptibility measurements were carried out for two hexagonal perovskite-type oxides Sr 1ุ‰x (Mn 1ุŠx Ni x )O 3 with slightly di4erent compositions (i.e., x โ€ซุโ€ฌ 1 3 and 0.324). A signi5cant di4erence in the susceptibilities of the two phases demonstrates the need to control phase composition
