## Abstract A technique for noninvasive quantitative magnetic resonance imaging of perfusion is presented. It relies on using endogenous water as a freely diffusible tracer. Tissue water proton spins are magnetically labeled by sliceβselective inversion, and longitudinal relaxation within the slice

Abstract
Recent developments have shown that diffusion and blood microcirculation (perfusion) could be imaged and measured noninvasively by MRI. The purpose of this presentation is to overview the different approaches that use B~0~ field gradients to monitor diffusion / perfusion. The principles of these different methods are discussed together with their limitations and their potential applications. Β© 1990 Academic Press, Inc.

## Abstract Measurement of regional myocardial perfusion is important for the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease. Currently used methods for the measurement of myocardial tissue perfusion are either invasive or not quantitative. Here, we demonstrate a technique for the measurement o
## Abstract Coronary artery disease (CAD) is currently the leading cause of death in developed nations. Reflecting the complexity of cardiac function and morphology, noninvasive diagnosis of CAD represents a major challenge for medical imaging. Although coronary artery stenoses can be depicted with
An ultrafast MR sequence was used to measure changes in signal intensity during the first pass of intravascular contrast through the pulmonary circulation. From this, mean transit time, relative blood volume, and relative blood flow were calculated. Data were collected in an isogravitational plane i
