## Abstract A neutron diffraction study of powdered K~2~NiF~4~ has been made at the following temperatures: 21 Β°K, 77 Β°K and 298 Β°K. In this tetragonal layer‐type structure, the magnetic moments within each sheet are coupled antiferromagnetically; they are found to be parallel to the __c__‐axis.
