✦ Synopsis

We present experimental results obtained for RBa 2 Cu 3 O 7-x (R = Y, Er) expitaxial thin films obtained through pulsed laser deposition (PLD) and grown on yttria stabilized zirconia (YSZ) and SrTiO 3 (STO) substrates. The films have been deposited by using low deposition rates ( f = 4 Hz) and with control of the film surface temperature rather than that of the sample holder leading to a high quality of the epitaxy.
