✦ Synopsis
Magnetic hysteresis measurements have been made on a variety of YBa2CuaO74 samples (sintered, flux grown crystalline and melt grown materials). Claims that the unusual behaviour of the hysteresis of single crystals is caused by inhomogeneities and oxygenation, have been investigated. It has been found that after grinding and oxygenation a peak in the hysteresis width remains present.
