โฆ Synopsis
We calculate the current and magnetic-flux distributions in a square network of Josephson junctions subject to an external magnetic field. Magnetic fields due to the superconducting currents induced in the system are taken into account via selfand long-range mutual inductance coefficients. Similarities of our results with the critical-state model are discussed. Our computed flux distributions compare well with magnetooptical measurements on polycrystalline thin films.
