Several samples of rare-earth oxides of perovskite structure were developed and investigated between 1.5 and 10 K. The measurements have shown, that these materials have large magnetic moments and most of them exhibit a magnetic phase transition below 4 K. The heat capacities of the samples have bee

In this study we present a review of low-temperature magnetic properties of alabandite (Fe, Mn)S, daubreelite FeCr 2 S 4 , pyrrhotite Fe 1Γ€x S and troilite FeS updated with new experimental data. The results indicate that besides FeNi alloys mainly daubreelite with its Curie temperature T C $ 150 K
