✦ Synopsis

A series of perovskite-type complex oxides of general formula La 1.33 Na x Mn x Ti 2-x O 6 (x = 0.66, 0.55 and 0.44) have been obtained and characterised. Magnetic susceptibility measurements on these phases follow a Curie-Weiss-like dependence at high temperatures, although a more complex variation is observed at lower temperatures. The thermal variation of M/H from zero-field-cooled and field-cooled susceptibility measurements shows irreversible processes and magnetisation isotherms that differ from typical ferromag- [a

Comprehensive investigations into crystal structures, electrical and magnetic properties of the (Lal-,Ca,)MnO, (z = 0 f 0.6) solid solutions are performed. Two concentration magnetic phase transitions are found : antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic with x = 0.14 and ferromagnetic (T, = 150 K)ferromagnet
