## Abstract Uniform small onion‐like carbon (OLC) modified with molybdenum carbide has been synthesized by a one‐step process, using detonation‐assisted chemical vapor deposition. The obtained material was characterized by transmission electron microscope, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, Rama
