Single-crystalline nanorods of b-MnO 2 , a-Mn 2 O 3 and Mn 3 O 4 were successfully synthesized via the heat-treatment of g-MnOOH nanorods, which were prepared through a hydrothermal method in advance. The calcination process of g-MnOOH nanorods was studied with the help of Thermogravimetric analysis
