For Judy Waverly, Christmas is her favorite time of the year. She loves the lights, the silently falling snow while everyone is sleeping and how everything looks so magical.

However, Judy is looking for her Christmas wish to come true. After Judy’s divorce years ago, she has found more comfort in women than in men. Keeping her affairs to herself. Believing that there’s one special person out there for everyone.

Judy has a nice house, a big one, but nothing like a mansion. Being a woman of a certain age, Judy has relied on her maid, Lucy. For the last couple of years, Lucy has been a loyal and devoted helper.

Judy and Lucy get along great, until Lucy tells Judy why she doesn’t like going out in public and they find they have one major thing in common.
