✦ Synopsis

In this paper we review the main aspects of a fast magneto-quasi-stationary integral numerical formulation that can be eciently extended to include the modelling of superconductors in fully 3D geometries. The macroscopic constitutive law of superconductors is taken into account by means of a variational approach leading to an unconstrained minimization problem. Some illustrative examples are presented to show the main features of the proposed numerical approach.
