✦ Synopsis

Size-tunable assembly of peptide nanowires and their corresponding colloidal liquid crystalline (LC) phase behavior are presented. The stable dispersion of peptide nanowires having various sizes exhibited nematic LC phases, governed by the electrostatic interactions among peptide nanowires, as well as by the shape and size of the nanowires.
