✦ Synopsis

A weighted Lyanunov functional is used to derive local and global stability conditions for the porous catalyst particle system. Results are presented for finite interphase transfer, Nu and Sh f _, and for general time-varying surface conditions. Improvements on previous results for the case of unit Lewis number and negligible interphase transfer are also developed.
