✦ Synopsis
For polymers of aeenaphthylene and copolymers with methylmethacrylate measurement of the polarization of the fluorescence in glassy solution at 77 K has been combined with analysis of the intensity and decay of excimer and monomer fluorescence over a large temperature range. Activation energies and frequency factors corresponding to several photophysical processes have been determined and compared with those reported previously for I-vinylnaphthalene polymer and copolymers.
