The trans+cis and cis-trans photoisomerization of azoethane induced with light of A = 3 13-390 nm has been studied in hydrocarbon glasses at 77 K. The quantum yields of isomerization have been shown to be about 0.3. The yields increase slightly with growing fret volume of the matrix and do not depen
