✦ Synopsis
The concentration dependen= of fluorescence spectra and fluorescence excitation spectra of 9-aminoacridine in ethanol at 4.2"K has been studied. Spectral bands of the protonated and neutral molecules have been separated. The fine structure fluorescence spectrum of neutral molecules has been discovered and has been investigated by means of laser excitation of the fluorescence. It has been shown that wide bands in the absorption and fluorescence spectra of the protonated and neutml forms of 9-mninoacridine arc broadened non-homogeneously. This non-homogeneous broadening is removed by laser excitation of the fluorescence.
