✦ Synopsis

The absorption and luminescence of sq'n-and anti-paracyclonaphtbe are reported and compared to the excimer emission from 1,4-dimethyl-naphtbalene. The spectra provide evidence for excimer interactions in the fIuorescent state but not in the tripbt state.
