11‐Oxo‐and 12‐oxo‐bufalins, defensive steroids from the fireflies Photinus ignitus and P. marginellus (Coleoptera: Lampyridae)
Four lucibufagins (4, 8, 9 and 10), defensive bufadienolides from the fireflies Photinus ignitus and P. marginellus (Coleoptera: Lampyrida), have been isolated and are characterized by spectroscopic means.
