Then again, as he undertakes his brutal acts, and in the aftermath, whilst to his amusement, he cleverly sets the crime scene to ensure someone else is framed for his horrendous crimes; thus destroying numerous lives along his cruel journey.

Luby is cold, chilling, brutal, and sexually explicit throughout, but is also laced with aspects of dark humour, as you see inside the cruel and calculating mind of a serial killer. Be warned! - It's not one for the children!

Carl Luby is a clever and witty double-glazing salesman. Whilst charming customers with his slick sales presentation, ensuring his clients get the best possible deal and he gets the biggest commission cheque, he hides a dark secret. Unknown to those whose homes he’s warmly invited to enter, Luby is a brutal and vicious woman-hating serial killer.

Luby despises openly flirtatious and teasing women, and whilst surveying the customers homes, for those female clients who’ve been ‘chosen’ he’s also evaluating a means of entry and form of attack. Luby is determining exactly how where and when he’ll return one day for a ‘special’ visit, to then torture, rape and brutally murder his carefully selected victims.

The reader experiences all of these thoughts and emotions first-hand, learning how a cold and chilling serial killer thinks and plans brutal and vicious acts, as they follow in the first-person Carl Luby's cruel plans.

D.I. Paul Munroe, whilst struggling with a reluctant divorce, is investigating a number of brutal murders, where women are tortured and raped. Strangely each victim is killed supposedly safe in their own home.

How is the killer easily gaining access? How are the victims chosen? And why is there so much misleading evidence, leading to wrongful arrests? Is there even more than one killer?

These are the questions Munroe must answer, whilst being pressurised by his superiors to find and arrest a suspect. At times it seems to Munroe that anyone will do, so long as there is a result.

Throughout the fast-paced, intriguing and twisting plot, inevitably Munroe and Luby's paths cross in various ways. But what will the outcome be?

Luby is aimed at any one who enjoys a fast-moving, dark, thriller and likes to be scared!

Extremely sexually graphic and brutal in detail, with scenes of torture and horrific murders, it is a fast-moving and gripping novel, but also laced with dark humour and cunning clever twists.

Luby is certainly not a story for the faint-hearted; sure to shock, and will certainly make you question forever more who you openly invite into your home.
