The theoretical behavior of a double layered array of two Newtonian liquids in ideal, isothermal, lubricated (frictionless) and non-lubricated, squeezing flows between parallel plates is described in terms of dimensionless force-time or thickness-time relationships. In lubricated flow at a constant
