β¦ Synopsis
A method to synthesize lead zirconate titanate (Pb(Zr Ti )O ) by co-precipitation in aqueous medium is 0.53 0.47 3 described. The as-prepared powders were heat-treated at 550 and 700 8C. DTA, TG and XRD were employed to follow and characterize the phase evolution. The results show that mono-phase, tetragonal Pb(Zr Ti )O 0.53 0.47 3 powder can be synthesized at considerably low temperature.
