The study of a physically mixed Ga203/HZSM-5 catalyst shows that propene aromatization on the catalyst may be improved by activating it in hydrogen at high temperature. The optimal pretreatment conditions are at 773 K in hydrogen for 2 h and about 1 wt.-% Ga content. Ga"' in Ga20s/HZSM-5 catalyst ca
