Abstract
During UV.‐irradiation of acetone/2‐propanol mixtures at −70° products of photo‐addition of acetone to intermediate enols are formed. The yields of these products exceed the yield of pinacol, the major room temperature product. At −70° the photoadditions are favoured by the long lifetime of acetone enol (≥ 5000 s).
